1933
January 30- Adolf Hitler is appointed chancelor of Germany
February 27- Nazis burn Reichstag building to create crisis atmosphere
-this was when things began to erupt because they blamed the Jews for burning the building
February 28- powers granted to Hitler as a result of the Reichstag fire to protect their nation from threats to its security
March- first German Concentration camp Dachua is established
1934
August 2- German president dies, making Hitler the new leader of Germany
1936
March 7 - Nazis remilitarize the Rhineland
-which violated the terms of the Treaty of Versailles
1938
March 13 - Adolf Hitler announces union with Austria
September 29- France and Britain gave a policy of appeasement to Germany allowing them to occupy part of Czeckoslovakia
1939
September 1- Nazis Invades Poland
September 3-Great Britain, and France Declare war on Germany starting WWII
1940
January 25 - the Largest concentration camp Auschwitz in Poland is created.
May 10 - Nazis invade France, Belgium, and Holland
June 14 - Nazis occupy france.
June 22 - France signs armistice with Hitler.
October 7 - Nazis invade Romania
November- Nazis for allies with Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia

December 7 - Japanese attack United States at Pearl Harbor
December 8 - U.S declares war on Japan
December 11 - Hitler declares war on the United States
1942
June 30- Over 1,000,000 Jews reported to be killed by Nazis
1943
February 21 - Germans surrender to russian troops "the Battle of stalingrad" which was the first big defeat to hitlers Army, and is known to be one of the bloodiest battles in the history of warfare with nearly 2 million casualties. this battle was the turning point in the war. after this battle germans never really regained their early strength.
1944
March 19 - Nazis occupy Hungary
Summer- Auschwitz is killing 9,000 per day
November 8- Nazis start to evacuate prisoners from camps and force them to march away from front lines and allied forces
1945
January 14- russian troops invade eastern Germany
January 18- Nazis evacuate 66,000 from Auschwitz
January 27- Russian Troops finally invade Auschwitz where an estimated 2,000,000, including 1,500,000 Jews, have been murdered.
April 23 - Russian troops reach Berlin
April 30- Hitler commits suicide
May 8- World War 2 ends. (Germany Surrenders).
